Tutor King lessons take place online using video conferencing tools. Once you've registered and been matched with a tutor, you'll receive a session link. Lessons run Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays) and learners can join from any device with an internet connection.
Yes! Tutor King offers tutoring support for Grade R all the way through to Grade 12. We have qualified tutors across all phases of the South African school curriculum.
We primarily support the CAPS curriculum but also accommodate learners on the IEB and Cambridge curricula. Please indicate your child's curriculum when registering so we can match you with the most suitable tutor.
For Online Tutoring, learners can have a maximum of 2 subjects per session. For the Homework Help service, you can choose from 1 subject up to an All Subjects Combo package. Study guides are purchased individually per subject or as an all-subjects bundle.
Absolutely. You can choose from group sessions (2–5 learners) or private one-on-one sessions. Private sessions are priced at R2,500 per month across all grade bands. Group sessions offer a more affordable option with excellent results.
All new learners receive a 2-day free trial before committing to a paid plan. You can select your preferred trial start date on the registration form. There's no obligation to continue if you're not completely satisfied.
Progress updates can be sent weekly, monthly, per term, or only when necessary — whichever works best for you. You can specify your preference on the registration form. Updates are typically sent via WhatsApp or email.
